If you love Buffalo Wild Wings and are looking for a fun and easy recipe to make at home, then you have to try their Street Tacos. These tacos are packed with flavor and are the perfect way to satisfy your craving for something spicy and delicious. Here's everything you need to know about Buffalo Wild Wings Street Tacos and how to make them at home.

I always give instructions with step-by-step photos in my posts, just in case some readers have questions. But if you are just here for the recipe, click the JUMP TO RECIPE tab under the title, and it will take you straight there. You can also print the recipe card with full instructions, or you can click one of the SHARE BUTTONS and save it for later!

What are Buffalo Wild Wings Street Tacos?

Buffalo Wild Wings Street Tacos are a popular menu item at the chain restaurants. They are small, handheld tacos that are made with a variety of flavorful ingredients, which according to their website, include pulled chicken, parmesan garlic, house-made pico de gallo, southwestern ranch, and cilantro. The tacos are served on flour tortillas and are perfect for sharing.

Although these tacos are from Buffalo Wild Wings, they are not your typical buffalo chicken tacos. They don't have buffalo sauce, green onions, OR blue cheese crumbles. If you'd like to try that version try my buffalo chicken taco recipe.

Why Make Buffalo Wild Wings Street Tacos at Home?

There are a few reasons why you might want to make these delicious tacos at home. For one, it can be fun to recreate your favorite restaurant dishes in the comfort of your own kitchen. It can also be a way to save money because making tacos at home is definitely less expensive than eating out.

In addition, making them at home allows you to customize the recipe to your liking. You can adjust the level of spiciness by using your own dry seasoning ingredients, add or subtract ingredients, and even experiment with different types of toppings like sour cream or different types of cheese.

How to Make the Best Buffalo Wild Wings Street Tacos

While the exact recipe for Buffalo Wild Wings Street Tacos is a closely guarded secret, there are a few steps you can take to recreate this dish at home.

  • Grill or pan-sear the chicken for extra flavor and texture
  • Use fresh, high-quality ingredients for the best flavor
  • Serve the tacos with a side of rice and beans for a complete meal
  • Take the time to make homemade pico de gallo

What to Serve with Buffalo Wild Wings Street Tacos

Serve the tacos with a side of Mexican rice and beans, Mexican Street Corn, Avocado Salad, or just chips and pico!

Let's Gather Up the Ingredients

Ingredients for Buffalo Wild Wings Street Tacos
  • Chicken- I prefer to use boneless skinless chicken thighs in this recipe, but you could also use chicken breasts if you prefer white meat. You can grill, pan fry or you could even use fried chicken! I like to dice it into small pieces, but you could also slice it or use shredded chicken.

  • Seasoning mix- Chili Powder, Onion Powder, Salt, Pepper, Garlic Powder, Cayenne pepper, Cumin, Oregano, and Paprika

  • Garlic- Freshly grated using your microplane or very finely diced.

  • Cilantro- Roughly chopped

  • Crisp Lettuce- Iceberg or romaine lettuce are both great choices

  • Parmesan Cheese- Buffalo Wild Wings website says their street tacos have garlic parmesan. I made my own version, but you can substitute it with your favorite cheese for tacos. Sharp cheddar or cotija cheese would both be good choices.

  • Chipotle Peppers- Adjust the amount to your heat tolerance. These peppers have a nice smokey flavor that pairs well with the tacos.

  • Ranch dressing- Your favorite brand is great!

  • Flour tortillas- You can get my recipe for Homemade Flour Tortillas here, but of course, you can just buy whatever tortillas your family enjoys. These are also great with corn tortillas. I haven't attempted a homemade version of those yet, but stay tuned 🙂

  • Southwestern Ranch- Just mix your favorite ranch dressing with some chopped chipotle peppers and a little of the seasoning mix you made.

  • Handmade pico de gallo

Now Let's Get Cooking

Make the seasoning mix

  • Combine the Chili Powder, Onion Powder, Salt, Pepper, Garlic Powder, Cayenne pepper, Cumin, Oregano, and Paprika in a small mixing bowl. Use the mixture to season the chicken liberally on both sides and then put it in the refrigerator to dry marinate for at least an hour.
